After you click the link below to open the Show, click the "Present" button at the top to see it as a slide show. If you want your project added, send Kathy an email at! Kathy has enjoyed reading all of the stories about your projects and seeing the beautiful piecing,
applique,and quilting!

ALL MMQG meetings and activities are canceled until further notice.  Please watch this space for further information.

The Misty Mountain Quilt Camp is an outreach program to introduce middle and high school students to sewing and quilting in order to pass on the stitching heritage of our guild.  We have worked with teenagers in Fannin, Towns, Union and Clay Counties through the schools and 4-H groups.  All supplies and equipment are supplied by the guild.
The purpose of this message is to encourage more of you to volunteer.  Because of the teenagers' busy schedules, we usually work with them in the summer and during school breaks.  Our program lasts 4 mornings from about 9 to 12 so this is not an all-consuming commitment.  We have had 2 groups most summers and you would not be expected to help each day if it does not fit with your schedule.  There is a set lesson so you will not be required to plan, just totally enjoy the wonderful, enthusiastic teenagers we have here in the mountains.
Please e-mail me if you would like to help or want more information.
