2024 Garden Party Retreat Report

 🌹   🌼  🌺  MMQG Garden Party Retreat April 18-20, 2024  🌺 🌼  🌹 

The 2024 Garden Party Retreat was a resounding success! The Heart 2 Heart Quilter's Garden project brought in enough blocks for 3 quilts, and retreaters also finished 8 tops (including two from the Quilter's Garden blocks), 6 walker bags and 2 wheelchair bags. Quilts of Valor piecers made 116 blocks, Hugs and Kisses had 18 quilt tops completed, and Comfort Quilts now has 74 new blocks. Many of the quilters in Shirley Deasy's "Dear Jane" course worked on finishing their 10 blocks for the month, many UFOs started at previous retreats were finished, the Tulip Challenge brought out hand quilting, embroidery, applique and more, and everyone had a great time socializing with fellow quilters!
